Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Release and Review Live: Is there anything more exciting than witnessing the union of two of Hindi cinema’s biggest action stars in a full-blown masala entertainer? Guess not. The highly anticipated action extravaganza Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is set to hit screens this Thursday. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in key roles. Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the antagonist in the film.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan at the box office, both scheduled for release on the same day. While the former has garnered 88,598 ticket sales, amounting to Rs 2.23 crore, according to Sacnilk, the latter has secured 27,581 ticket sales, totaling Rs 62.6 lakh for day one.
Marking the first collaboration between Akshay and Tiger, the film’s trailer showcases the duo as Indian Army officers battling a masked villain portrayed by South star Prithviraj Sukumaran. Alaya F and Manushi Chillar play the love interests of Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, respectively.
Shot across various locales including Scotland, London, India, Jordan, and the UAE, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan incorporates elements reminiscent of the 1998 film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda as police inspectors.
For both Akshay and Tiger, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan carries significant weight, particularly following a tumultuous period marked by a series of box office disappointments. Akshay’s last few ventures like Ram Setu, Selfiee, Raksha Bandhan and Samrat Prithviraj failed to make an impact until OMG 2 released in theatres. Similarly, Tiger’s Ganapath and Heropanti 2 were declared box office failures.
