Exit Poll 2024 Highlights: Welcome to our live blog covering the eagerly awaited exit poll results for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections! Most of the pollsters have predicted a comfortable win for the BJP-led NDA, projecting a third successive term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, powered by big gains in states like West Bengal and Telangana and repeating its 2019 performance in most of the states. The BJP-led NDA is likely to open its account in Tamil Nadu and Kerala but may see a fall in its tally in states like Bihar, Rajasthan and Haryana, according to the pollsters.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance is projected to secure more than 350 plus seats, crossing the Lok Sabha's halfway mark, while the Opposition INDIA bloc is expected to win in fewer than 200 seats.
Votes polled in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha election will be counted on 4 June.
The ten exit polls suggest that though the BJP-led NDA will win at least 350 seats, it will fail to cross 400 seat milestone. However, three exit polls – India Today-My Axis India, India TV-CNX, and News24-Todays Chanakya exit polls have predicted 400 plus seats for the NDA.Of all the exit polls, only Dainik Bhaskar has projected 200 plus seats for the INDIA bloc.
400 plus seats for NDA
India Today-My Axis India predicted that NDA will get 361–401 seats, the INDIA bloc 131–166 seats and the others 8 to 20 seats.
As per India TV-CNX exit poll, NDA will get 371 to 401 seats and INDA bloc 109 to 139 seats. Others are likely to receive 28 to 38 seats.
News24-Today Chanakya has projected 400 seats for the NDA with the BJP getting 335 seats. The INDIA alliance is expected to get 107 seats with Congress securing 50 seats.
Majority predicts 350 plus seats for NDA
According to Republic Bharat-Matrize, the NDA is likely to win 353–368 seats. The INDIA bloc, comprising the Congress party, Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, the Communist Party of India, and several regional parties, is projected to win in 118–133 Lok Sabha constituencies, it said. Other candidates are expected to win 43–48 seats.
As per India News D Dynamics exit polls, the NDA is likely to get 371 seats; the INDIA bloc 125–133 seats, and the others 30 seats.
Republic Bharat-P Marq predicted 359 seats for the NDA, 154 for the INDIA bloc, and 30 for others.
According to the Jan Ki Baat exit poll, the NDA will get 362–392 seats, the INDIA bloc 141–161, and the others 10–20 seats.
The News Nation exit poll predicted that NDA would get 342–378 seats, the INDIA bloc 153–169 seats.
NDTV India - Jan Ki Baat predicted 362–392 seats for the NDA, 141 to 161 for the INDIA bloc, and 10 to 20 for others.
According to ABP-C Voters, the NDA will get 353 to 383 seats and the INDIA bloc will get 152 to 182 seats, while others will get 4 to 12 seats.
Times Now-ETG has predicted 358 seats for NDA, 152 for INDIA and 33 for others.
Dainik Bhaskar projected 281 to 350 seats for the NDA, 145 to 201 seats for the INDIA bloc and 33 to 49 seats for others.
The News18 exit poll predicted 355–370 seats for the NDA and 125 to 140 seats for the INDIA bloc. Other parties are projected to secure 42–52 seats.
As per News18 polls, the BJP is likely to get 305–315 seats, INC is expected to get 62–72 seats.
Assembly Election Results 2024 Live Updates: The vote counting for Assembly Elections for two northeastern states Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will take place today. Polling for the 60 assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh and for 32 assembly seats in Sikkim was also held on April 19, simultaneously with the first phase of Lok Sabha elections.
The counting for Andhra Pradesh and Odisha Assemblies will be held on June 4 along with the counting of Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Arunachal Pradesh
In Arunachal Pradesh, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) enjoys an edge as it has won 10 of the 60 seats in the state uncontested. Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein have already won their respective seats.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, the BJP won 41 seats in Arunachal Pradesh. The Janata Dal (United) bagged seven, the National People's Party (NPP) five, Congress four, and the Peoples Party of Arunachal (PPA) one. Two independents also won in the Assembly polls. All except one Congress MLA, former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, joined the BJP.

Arunachal Pradesh recorded 82.95 per cent of voting in the Assembly Election 2024. It was 82.17 per cent in the Assembly Election 2019.
Sikkim
In Sikkim, the ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) are in a cut-throat competition with the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF). Recently in November 2023, footballer Bhaichung Bhutia's Hamro Sikkim Party merged with the SDF.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, the SKM won 17 seats, while the SDF secured 15 seats. The exit polls predict that the SKM will come back to power in the state.
Sikkim recorded 79.88 per cent of voting in the Assembly Election 2024. It was 81.43 per cent in the Assembly Election 2019.
